The celebrities at the 10th Star Magic Ball did not disappoint last night in the red carpet. And if there’s one thing that I noticed it’s that several of the outfit looked like it was pulled from a movie—from Bond girl-type silhouettes to classic princess ball gowns.
There were a lot of note-worthy looks, too, so sit tight to see all of them.
Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil
The evening’s Best-Dressed Female, Liza showed up in a soft lavender gown with intricate embroidery by Michael Cinco. On the other hand, Enrique looked dapper in a suit and bowtie―you can say the two had a prince and princess vibe going on.
Kathryn Bernardo
Also wearing a Michael Cinco number is Kathryn Bernardo, who went for a dramatic and glittery violet tube dress that showed off her curves and décolletage. The look was completed with a diamond necklace from Luvi Jewellery.
Janella Salvador
Janella rocked a custom Jo Rubio dress with a scoop back and semi-long train. She also looked regal with the white fabric and silvery details.
Shaina Magdayao
A ’60s film-inspired look, stylist Cath Sobrevega describes Shaina’s look as reminiscent of Sophia Loren in Millionaires. The all-black Popo Go dress framed the torso area with a deep V-neck and also cinched the waist with a billowy slit skirt., complete with a silver clutch and stilettos.
Sofia Andres
Sofia Andres channeled a gothic feel with her halter dress by Edwin Tan which had black lace lining down her chest. Her strong brows and heavy-lined eyes also went well with the outfit. All that’s left was a bold dark lip!

Keeping it simple and chic, Jessy wore a straight-cut black dress to the ball and paired it with statement earrings and vampy lips.
Erich Gonzales and Daniel Matsunaga

This ’50s-inspired look worked well for this on and offscreen couple. Erich looked classic in a white gown while Daniel complemented her look in a black and white tux.
Maxene Magalona and Robbie Mananquil
Maxene looked like a ’70s music diva with dramatic flowy sleeves, a silk skirt, and a bright red lip. Robbie, on the other hand, was chic in a gray suit.
Jodi Sta. Maria
Jodi looked like an elegant fairy godmother in a stunning black Mark Bumgarner gown which had studs on it that looked like stars in the night sky.
Coleen Garcia and Billy Crawford
Coleen and Billy mastered the art of wearing black on black. The former wore an eye-catching ball gown by Pepsi Herrera with leaf-like details on the skirt, and the latter sported a black suit with glossy black linings.
Julia Barretto

Julia pulled off a daring look with a nude and black dress which gave the illusion that she’s wearing a sheer number. Sexy without revealing too much.
John Lloyd Cruz
Everybody’s favorite leading man showed up a white Gucci suit and a new haircut that got people talking. And in case you didn’t see it yet, he has a peace sign shaved on the side of his head.
Alex Gonzaga

Alex showed up in an all-lace Rosa Clara number, complete with a soft makeup look.
Kim Chui and Xian Lim

The couple looked like they came out of a ’50s film with Kim wearing a shimmery black gown and Xian wearing a white suit with a prominent black vest.

Kim made head turns with the geometric detail on her dress, while Echo looked rugged but still dapper in a suit. Looks like just another date night for the fashionable couple.
Gretchen Ho
Going for a simple yet modern look, Gretchen showed off her shoulder blades in a scoop back dress and a mismatched train behind her.
Maricar Reyes-Poon
Maricar Reyes rocked a sleek black dress with long sleeves, but still looked sexy with the deep V-neck and cuts on the sides to show a bit of skin.
Ellen Adarna

Remember Angelina Jolie’s iconic thigh-high slit dress during the Oscars 2012? Ellen Adarna might’ve channeled that with her Patty Ang dress.
Dawn Zulueta
Dawn sure knows how to rock a Valentino dress. The white ensemble had black trimmings on it, and paired with crystal-encrusted Jimmy Choo heels and Rafe New York minaudiere which makes for a chic look.
