Why is it that when married women do something on their own, people quickly assume that they’re having marital problems? This is probably the same question that Sharon Cuneta asked when she suddenly flew to the US.

Fans were surprised when Sharon left, especially when she vaguely stated earlier this month that she’s been in “too much pain and fatigue.” This prompted several speculations, one of them was that her husband Sen. Francis Pangilinan was having an affair with Sen. Risa Hontiveros.
Sharon recently denied these rumors in a lengthy Facebook post, and decided to shed some light on her sudden departure.
The short version of her explanation is that she needed a break from her work and business commitments. She also emphasized that she owes money on her investments and feeling “used and abused” by the people she works with.
“I am probably the poorest, most cash-strapped billionaire you know… So much more, and you don’t [know] the half of it,” she wrote. “I am a human being. I want to rest my mind, body, heart and soul. I am tired of being all things to all people, and I realize no one has really done or been the same for me.”
While everyone experiences financial problems at one point in their lives, it seems unlikely when it’s coming from a well-known celebrity like the Mega Star. Especially when you consider that she might also have several assets to her name. Who knows? It’s not impossible even if she is a billionaire.
Sharon also emphasized how nobody’s helping her in this stressful ordeal except for herself. Hence, making her feel lonely. We commend her for focusing on herself, but what about her family? Aren’t they able to offer any form of assistance?
Meanwhile, Sharon let everyone know that she’s getting some much-needed rest from all her commitments. We’re not sure how long it’ll take, but we hope she gets enough strength to face all the challenges that await her back home.
