5 Plus Size Brands We Wish Were Available Here

I wonder when we’ll get to a point where every other clothing brand has a wide range of sizes. For now, we need to step out of the idea that these collections are just token sections in shops. We need to celebrate every size and shape and realize how fashion can be a tool for free self-expression. Rather than telling people what they should look like, we need to recognize that what they already look like is beautiful. (If you need a refresher, click through our articles on body positivity and revisit our last Preen Sessions.)

Good thing that the Internet is the best friend of curvy girls. If you can’t find the right clothing for your shape and your preference, you are free to click through several brands available online. But it won’t hurt also if they manage to find themselves in a few physical spots across our metro.

Eloquii

New York-based Eloquii proudly carries sizes 14 to 28. But don’t expect frumpy creations. They have on-trend camo jackets, dainty tops with cute ribbon details, and bikinis.

BooHoo Plus Size & Curve

Millennial clothing (band tees, Coachella-inspired pieces, mesh pieces) always seem to have the Kendall Jenners of the world in mind. Not for BooHoo. The brand carries up to size XXL without compromising their youthful brand DNA. Have fun choosing which trend you’ll be rocking without hiding your curves.

Carmakoma

I’m calling a major alert for this Scandinavian brand. They carry well-tailored pants and bodysuits for the curvy girl. They also have chic pieces for stylish officewear alongside lace pieces and cocktail dresses in solid colors for those who love classic and timeless looks.

Monif C.

If you’re a risk-taker when it comes to clothes and hardly one to shy away from bright colors, Monif C. has got your back. The brand is mainly focused on dresses, jumpsuits, and swimwear which helps the plus-sized girl achieve her goals without second-guessing her next move.

SimplyBe

This shop is for when you don’t have the time to go through different spots just to complete one outfit. They have coats and jackets along with sportswear line plus accessories. You might get a little bit lost as their dress selection alone is extensive from maxi ones to bodycon designs. They’ve also got a separate section from jeans, in many different cuts as well.
