Yesterday morning, queen of neo soul Erykah Badu posted a photo of her tour stops on Instagram and Manila will be her last destination. On October 14 her Badu vs. Everythang Tour will be held in the Philippines but there is no announcement yet of where it will be and how much the tickets will cost.
As soon as people found out about the concert, my social media timelines were flooded with photos of the poster and statuses exclaiming excitement. For those who are not familiar with the Grammy-winning artist and those who are looking forward to the performance, we put together a playlist you can listen to on your drive home.
To start off the playlist is “Honey” from her 2008 album New Amerykah Part One (4th World War). We also added some songs from her debut album Baduizm, “On & On” and “Appletree.” To finish off the playlist is “Hello” from her 2015 mixtape titled But You Can’t Use My Phone.
