Andi Eigenmann’s Instagram feed was (and probably still is) on fire the past few days. First, she responded to a sister of a fan who she allegedly snubbed at the airport and as usual, other netizens had something to say—some were positive and were encouraging Andi to ignore while others just added fuel to the flame. The flow of conversation between Andi and other commenters brought out more than just the photo-taking-slash-snubbing incidents.
Andi actually dropped a major bomb—she quit showbiz to focus on being a parent to her daughter Ellie and to continue enjoying the simple life. She also mentioned that she was not happy in her situation anymore, and isn’t that always a factor when we make big life decisions or career changes?
If Andi quit because she wanted to focus on herself and her child, which are always far more important than fame, then we totally salute her. It’s never easy to face change, but she did it and she said she’s never been happier. (Yes, she said this in between all the talk about the airport snubbing.)
And as for the other issue she’s facing, well, it’s good to remember that celebrities are people, too and that they deserve privacy and respect of personal space. So yeah, don’t give her hate just because she declined one and raised her brow in the process.
