There has been a growing fascination with nail art lately. The most recent viral trend is the matchstick nail, which could literally catch fire and light a cigarette.
Of course, not everyone would want a fire-hazard manicure. Sometimes a simple polish can do. But if you’re feeling #extra, a few rhine stones can also do the trick. They look great for the ‘gram too. That said, we looked at the go-to nail artists and salons of celebrities so you know where to book an appointment next.
Extraordinail
If you want unique nail polish and precious-looking embellishments, check out Extraordinail. This salon has an impressive list of celeb clients which include names like Jessy Mendiola, Alex Gonzaga, Denise Laurel, and Charo Santos-Cancio. They’re also always present in celebs’ credits as they do their nails for shoots, tapings, and red carpet events. Located at 101A Continental Court, Annapolis, Greenhills, San Juan City. For a complete list of branches, visit their website.
Nails.Glow
Nails.Glow can do painted-on nail art and colorful French tips. This is the best place to go to if you want something simple without scrimping on the quality. Just look at how Nadine Lustre (who also owns a franchise), Kisses Delavin, and Ria Atayde always flaunt their newly manicured nails after each appointment. Located at Unit #123, G/F Grand Central Residences, Sultan Street corner EDSA, Brgy. Highway Hills, Mandaluyong City. For a complete list of branches, visit their website.
Mi & Me Luxury Nails
Owned by nail artist Mimi Q. Reyes, this salon is known for using gel polish and doing nail art. Gel polish lasts longer than regular polish, so you don’t need to worry about chipping for a couple of days. Their various nail art creations also vary—from something low-key like what Elisse Joson and Pia Wurtzbach loved, to over-the-top which Ellen Adarna adores. For appointments, contact call or text (0917) 800-0686.
KathNails by KCMB
