Collaborations in the fashion and beauty world are always so exciting. When two brands or designers come together to create a hybrid collection, we always expect the best. As much as we love them separately, what happens when designers work hand-in-hand with beauty brands? Well, you get ’80s-inspired packaging, neon-colored eyeshadow, and raved-about products. To give you a better idea of what we’re talking about, check out the collaborations below.
MAC x Jeremy Scott
Probably one of the most anticipated launches during NYFW was the release of MAC’s collaboration with Jeremy Scott. During his show, the models rocked the bright colors from the newly launched makeup collection. Inspired by the ’80s and ’90s, the products are packaged in tins that look like CDs, boomboxes, and cassette tapes. The three palettes are for lips, eyeshadow, and highlighter. Available online.
Elf x Christian Siriano
Another beauty launch that took place during NYFW was the Elf x Christian Siriano collection. You can cop a matte liquid lipstick called Electric Fuschia and lip oil called Polished Pink. There is also an eyeshadow palette filled with bright colors like green and blue. You can also get a matching makeup bag to keep and store everything. Available online.
Victoria Beckham x Esteé Lauder
One of the most talked about collections in the beauty community is Victoria Beckham’s collaboration with Esteé Lauder. Back with another installment, the products have been raved about. Cop one of the eye matte duos for a smokey look and the aura gloss for a high shine pout. Available at Rustan’s The Beauty Source.
Lulu Guinness x Tangle Teezer
Had enough of tangled hair? Get this brush designed by Lulu Guinness. Inspired by her spring/summer 2016 collection, it features a lipstick print with vertical stripes. Keep this on your vanity or throw it in your purse if you have unruly hair. Available online.
Karl Lagerfeld x ModelCo
Karl Lagerfeld is coming out with another makeup collection, this time with beauty brand ModelCo. The collab was teased late last year with a photo posted on Instagram. According to Marie Claire, it will focus on the theme of illuminated beauty so we’re expecting some highlighters. The collection is supposed to launch in the beginning of this year so watch this space for updates.
