When you’re on vacation, the last thing you want is to be rushed to the hospital. But if you’re Lily Collins, you document the experience on Instagram Stories.
In a series of posts she shared that she was on the way to a hospital in Japan because she choked on a tomato. Yes, they performed the Heimlich maneuver but it didn’t work and if they did it any more times, her ribs would have cracked. Despite the situation, she was all laughs in the ambulance. Oh, this happened on her first night by the way.
She then posted an update saying that the tomato was still stuck in her throat. Her solution? Sing some karaoke songs. Her voice was well enough so she went for it.
What followed were videos of her singing her heart out. First was a song from Spice Girls and then another by Beyoncé. Her voice did crack a little but she blamed the tomato for that.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Lily. But we do hope you get the tomato out before you have to go home.
