Tomorrow is Star Wars Day, aka the day when fans say “May the Fourth be with you.” But did you know that this wasn’t created by anyone from Lucasfilm? According to The Sun, the pun was coined in newspaper ad by the UK Conservative party when Margaret Thatcher took office in 1979. It was later adapted by fans worldwide, making May 4th the official holiday for the franchise and was later recognized by the Star Wars team.
