After all the reports on sexual assault, you’d think men would know better. But we’re guessing not. Earlier today, artist Frank Magalona, son of the late Francis M and Pia Magalona, was arrested for doing exactly that—touching a woman without her consent.
According to Southern Police District Director, Chief Superintendent Tomas Apolinario, Jr., Frank was charged by the Taguig City Police for unjust vexation for touching the backside of a VIP host in Revel Bar in BGC.
“The victim said she was pulling out alcoholic beverages when Magalona approached her, walked behind her, and pinched her behind,” reports Inquirer.
The victim immediately told her supervisor about what happened, they then asked the help from the head bouncer, which eventually led to Frank’s arrest. He was only briefly detained and was released without charges.
As of writing, Frank Magalona or any of his family members have not released a statement regarding the issue.
