Let me be the first to admit that I’m not the most optimistic person in the world. I tend to focus on the negative and get stressed out pretty easily when something goes wrong. So when I see someone frolicking through life with an upbeat attitude, I start to wonder how they do it. Is there a class I can take or book I should read? Maybe but a quick way to remedy these situations is to start filling your life with positive things. Block out that negativity and embrace the good stuff. This is something actress Kisses Delavin does. On Twitter, she opens up about some of the hardships she goes through but then follows it up with words of encouragement. Other times she just send a quick tweet with words of motivation. These seem like small things but going through her tweets might make you feel a little bit better. Don’t believe us? Check out some of them below.
For when you feel like giving up
To those who are feeling sad, your heart may be weary and tired, but just remember all the things that made you happy. Before you know it, there’ll be sunshine again. The only thing that’s constant is change. Keep your head up ❤ pic.twitter.com/bcxjrTxqH2

If you’re in the middle of a very long and stressful week, shutting down is so easy. But, before you cave in, read Kisses’ motivational tweet about staying positive. She said, “To those who are feeling sad, your heart may be weary and tired, but just remember all the things that made you happy.”
Motivational push
Dear you… Smile! You’re doing great. #YouGotThis!
— Kisses (@delavinkisses) June 6, 2018
When you’re doubting yourself, pause and read this tweet. “Dear you… smile! You’re doing great.” You might not realize it but you probably are doing a good job at work and at home. So, don’t be so hard on yourself and take it easy.
Saying good-bye
But those who left, I know in my heart that they are good, loving people. I felt that they loved w/ the purest of their hearts and w/ the purest intentions. It wasn’t them, it was fate who made it happen. It was fate who made the doubts sound more believable than the actual truth pic.twitter.com/17CebGBXRp

Just like losing friends, Kisses has lost some fans along the way. On Twitter she revealed, “In my [first year] in showbiz, I’ve seen supporters turn into haters, even those who said they’ll always be there.” Yes, she was hurt but she’s not angry. “I know in my heart that they are good, loving people. I felt that they loved [with] the purest of their hearts and [with] the purest intentions.” Forgiving someone that quickly? Yeah, we all know that’s a struggle.
Supportive fans
There are no perfect people in this world but I think I may have been blessed with supporters who are the rare combination of cute-and-classy-and-sassy-but-palaban. Ahhh how did I get so lucky to have them !!? ♡♡♡

But for the fans who have stayed loyal, Kisses loves them all. She feels blessed to have them by her side and wonders, “how I did I get so lucky to have them?”
Real talk
I sometimes dislike you but most of the time you make me smile and I LOVE YOU… A LOT
To: life
From: me— Kisses (@delavinkisses) May 10, 2018
The way Kisses feels about life is probably the same way we all feel. “I sometimes dislike you but most of the time you make me smile.” Same, Kisses, same. We all have good and bad days but sometimes the bad outweighs the good. We just have to remember to look up because things are bound to get better.
No time wasted
When things aren’t going your way and you feel so tired, remember that there wouldn’t be great stories without a little conflict in it, too. All the pain you feel now, all the effort you do is never wasted. It will all be so worth it someday.. So keep looking up! You’re doing ok!
— Kisses (@delavinkisses) May 4, 2018
Hard times are inevitable and Kisses understands that but she doesn’t let that get her down. “When things aren’t going your way and you feel so tired, remember that there wouldn’t be great stories without a little conflict in it too. All the pain you feel now, all the effort you do is never wasted. It will all be so worth it someday.”
