Heart Evangelista has been off social media since announcing that she suffered a miscarriage. But today, she went on Instagram Live to update everyone on how she is and what she plans to do as part of her healing process.
Heart started off by explaining that she needed to take a break and thanked the people who offered kind words during this tough time. “I’m doing much, much better now. I’m thankful that I’m surrounded by amazing people—people that prayed for me and genuinely love us,” she said.
“This has probably been the most difficult thing I’ve ever experienced in my life,” Heart added. She continued that she never questioned God what happened to her baby. She’s also not ready to share all the details just yet but explained that what she went through is common among new moms. “It’s gonna be okay. It’s extremely confusing and painful at times but everything has a reason and you have to stay positive. You have to trust in God.”
What’s next for Heart? Is she coming back to social media now? Not exactly. She said that her husband, Sen. Chiz Escudero, that she continue her break overseas. “My husband has decided for me that I should leave the country and take a breather, take a break,” she said. “I’m scheduled to work just very shortly for something that I signed a few months ago. So, in a few days I’ll be going away for a while and I think it’s time to get out of the house. I’ve been staying home since the day I found out… I think I deserve to go out now and start moving forward.”
Take all the time you need to heal, Heart. Hope you have a safe trip!
