Meghan Markle has broken royal rules many times but that might be put on hold for now. According to The Cut, “Prince Harry has reportedly stopped her from wearing a tuxedo to a formal event in Australia.”
The report was up on Daily Mail and stated that he had “given the thumbs-down to a masculine Stella McCartney tuxedo suit.” A source also told the publication, “Meghan is being told she needs to stop dressing like a Hollywood star and start dressing like a Royal.” Okay, the Queen and royals in general may prefer skirts over trousers but Princess Diana was a fan of tuxedos too.
Just take a look at this photo of her in a tuxedo-style jacket, cigarette pants, and green vest at the Wembley Stadium in 1988.
Does this mean we’ll be seeing Meghan in more conservative clothing? Let us know what you think.
