Ah, the MTV VMAs. The awards show we’re all looking forward to, not just for the winners, but also for the drama, shocking performances, and crazy outfits celebrities wear. Historically, the awards show has brought us some of the most iconic and questionable looks. (e.g the Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake matching denim outfit?) This year, we’ve rounded up yet again the most memorable looks from the red carpet.

Cardi B

Rapper Cardi B debuted a pixie cut in the VMA red carpet, while wearing this gown.  The artist and new mom has plenty of reasons to celebrate the year, seeing as she bagged Best New Artist and Sing of Summer.

Camila Cabello

The “Havana” singer looked every bit the darling in this dyed dress while taking the stage to receive both Video of the Year and Artist of the Year.

Shawn Mendes

The singer looked dapper in his two-tone suit. The emerald green and navy blue look earned him several approvals from fashion experts.

Millie Bobby Brown

The Stranger Things star looked chic and edgy in this midriff-baring two-piece, proving her status as a young fashion icon.

Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson

The famous couple made their red carpet debut as a twosome in this year’s VMAs. While Ariana shone in her metallic dress, we think Pete Davidson’t cute bead bracelet with AGD (Ariana Grande Davidson) was the real star of the look

Madonna

The female icon who recently celebrated her 60th birthday show us she’s nowhere near being through with show business yet. The singer wore this black outfit with heavy jewellry while paying a tribute to Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin.

Algee Smith

Actor and singer Algee turned heads with this Moschino ensemble. Hey, the VMAs are the perfect awards show to go bold and crazy with outfits.

Chloe x Halle

The duo also known as Beyonce’s proteges looked stunning in matching architectural gowns

Amber Rose

The celebrity is known for her provocative outfits– and this year is no exception. This time, she went with a sort of cat woman vixen, complete with red leather whip.
