Have you ever wondered what the next beauty or fashion trend would be? As of now, these are usually material things that you can add on to your look like a necklace or eyelash extensions. But, what if we were to take it up a notch?
Just think of The Hunger Games series and those who lived in the Capitol. They had enough money to alter their appearance, so they did. Could this be where we’re heading? It might be. Lately, we’ve seen celebrities take a step forward by getting temporary body modifications that act as accessories.
Kim Kardashian posted videos on Instagram showing off a choker-like necklace that looked like it was embedded into her skin. Aside from that, it also glowed to the rhythm of her heartbeat. Not creepy at all.

This was done by A.Human, “a fashion brand from the future where self-expression isn’t defined by what you put on your body, but how you change your body.” According to Harper’s Bazaar, they actually have an upcoming exhibit, which will be ready for New York Fashion Week.
Before they debut their new pieces, they also had other celebrities try on their creations. Tan France of Queer Eye was also seen in their Tudor living ruffled collar. It was completed with gemstone-like pieces.
For something more dramatic, Chrissy Teigen had feathers applied to her chest. This was a one-of-a-kind piece, which was designed just for her.
A.Human’s creations don’t just stop at accessories. One of their other pieces is the Nautilus. “The first entry into our biological heel series.” Instead of wearing shoes, these almost become a part of your foot.
These ideas may seem out there and crazy but they’re also innovative. These are definitely a stretch from trendy looks you see on runways and store windows, but would you wear them? I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if these quickly became a go-to fashion statement in the near future.
