Prince Harry surprised theatergoers at the Victoria Palace Theater in London with his singing chops. Who would’ve thought?
The Duke of Sussex attended the Hamilton show meant to raise money for his charity, Sentebale, with his wife, Meghan Markle.
While onstage to express his gratitude for the cast and crew, the prince briefly sang the opening lines to “You’ll Be Back,” sung by King George III, to the delight of of audience and cast members, before stopping abruptly. “That is definitely not going to happen,” he said, smiling. He shared that Lin-Manuel Miranda had tried to get him to sing the whole song but he declined.
His performance might be brief, but it was enough to get the attention of social media. Even Michael Jibson, the actor who plays King George III, jibed in.
