OG blogger Chiara Ferragni and Italian singer Fedez Leonardo Lucia got married in Sicily over the weekend. It was a beautiful ceremony filled with flowers, over-the-top decorations, and lots of emotional tears. But what is a Chiara + Fedez wedding without couture and the best of fashion?
Chiara wore three (yes, three!) custom couture dresses from Dior, which of course, were all designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri.
But the other half of Dolce & Gabbana couldn’t keep his negative comments to himself. Stefano Gabbana commented on Chiara’s wedding photo on Instagram and said, “Cheap.”

Comments asked if he was just bitter, while others said that he should not have said such a thing. Most came to the defense of Chiara and described her dress as gorgeous and beautiful. This is just us, but do you think he wanted an Italian fashion brand to dress the couple? Did he simply get hurt because Chiara opted to work with Dior? I guess we’ll just have to assume.
Chiara’s dresses were actually far from cheap and was worked on for over a year. Maria and Chiara were hands on with the dresses and made sure to incorporate personal touches. Our personal favorite is her reception gown with lyrics from Fedez’s proposal song and embroideries of like a small lion to represent their baby boy Leon.
Whether Stefano found it cheap or not, Chiara still looked great on her wedding day. And may we ask this to close: Since when did Stefano turn into an Internet troll? When she bashed Selena Gomez or way before that?
