In case you missed the explosive announcement a few days ago, the Spice Girls will have a reunion tour next year. While it’s only happening in the UK, Mel B did say that the three other ladies—no, Victoria Beckham still isn’t going—would like a world tour in the future. (Ahem, Philippines, ahem!) Nonetheless, every Spice Girls fan across the globe came alive with the news. It’s been 20 years since their last tour, so it’s about damn time!

In relation to this, we wanted to look deep into our ’90s memories and remember our peak fangirl moments when it came to the Spice Girls. Because even if you don’t want to admit it, you know deep inside that you were so into them—and always will be. Check out the signs below and tell us if you can relate to some degree.
You had all the cassette tapes
The Spice Girls had three studio albums and one greatest hits compilation. You were probably rushing to the nearest music store to buy a copy on the first day. If they ran out, you’d go out of your way to look for it in other outlets. Ah, this type of dedication deserves an award.
You’ve got all the songs down

There’s nothing wrong with just knowing the popular ones. But we all know there are people who can perfectly sing even the most obscure songs from the Spice Girls—word for word. Right then and there, we all wished that we had the same memorizing skills for our tests the next day.
The epic poster collection
Whether they were official Spice Girls merch or the ones you get from magazines, you had to have these posters. The size didn’t matter as long as you could plaster it on your bedroom wall and closet door. Maybe even your ceiling if you collected that many.

Spice World was on repeat
There’s always that one film that we would put on repeat when we were younger. Yours might’ve been Spice World, which is a musical comedy film starring the Spice Girls. It had everything an avid fan would want: hit songs, colorful outfits and personalities, an exciting plot, and seeing all five girls jiving together on the big screen.
You and your friends embodied your favorite

You may remember the time you chose who you wanted to be and then ask your friends, so you guys would create a Spice clique at school. Plus points if you dressed like them, too.
Got emotional when Ginger Spice left
“No! Ginger Spice can’t leave!” said the younger you when she announced her departure in 1998. The group moved on with just four members but you felt that it wasn’t the same without Geri Halliwell. But in case you don’t know yet and haven’t gotten over this emotional memory, she did explain in 2010 why.
In an interview, Geri recounted how she was prohibited from giving an interview about breast cancer, which, for her, was the final straw. “I just got really angry, very emotional about it, because it was something very close to my heart,” she said. “I was meant to be the advocate of girl power, and I felt like a hypocrite if I couldn’t do something… for empowering women. So, I had to go. I had no other choice, really.”
Praying and hoping for a Manila concert
The Spice Girls never had a concert here in Manila when they were still together in the ’90s. When it was announced that they were going on a Spiceworld Tour in 1998, but only in the US and Europe, you were probably heartbroken. So you prayed and hoped that they’ll find their way to Manila. (Again: AHEM on that world tour next year.)
