Here’s what you can do with your paycheck today

Yes, it’s the end of the week but there’s something extra special about it. First, it’s actually a long weekend and we all got paid as well. Don’t you just love it when so many good things combine? Now that you have your last paycheck for November, what are you going to do with it? When it comes to many, there’s so much you can do. Your first instinct might be to head to the nearest ATM and withdraw so you can start spending it. But, before you do that, let’s weigh your options with a short list.

Save, save, and save

Before you even think about splurging on anything, consider saving. Take a chunk of your paycheck and deposit it in your savings account. Trust me, you’ll be so thankful you did.

Get ready for Christmas

Come on, you’re going to have to do it eventually so get started on Christmas shopping. Double check what your budget will permit and use our gift guides as references. We segregate them according to the type of person, money you have to spend, and more so you’ll have an easier time.

Set it aside

With the long holiday break coming up, you’re going to want some cash to spend. Whether it’s shopping for clothes, food, or movies, set some money aside for next month’s festivities.

Splurge

You know that bag you’ve been eyeing or that meal you’ve been craving? Go for it. I’m sure you’ve had a long week and you deserve to treat yourself. If you’re feeling generous, you can share the good times with friends and family too.

Long weekend

Take advantage of the long weekend and book something fun. Head out of town or schedule a fun workout class. Us this time and money for an activity you normally wouldn’t participate in.
