Filipino fashion is being recognized abroad and we’re here for it. A list was published on Forbes showing “Manila Designers To Have In Your Wardrobe In 2019.” The author mentioned, “Today, there is a movement within fashion gravitating towards labels and products that honor centuries-old traditions, craftsmanship and history. And Manila is one destination where all this is flourishing.”
She featured seven brands, each with their own styles from woven bags to statement shirts and jewelry. Among the labels mentioned were Zacarias 1925, Filip + Inna, and Joanique.
She also talked about designers Vania Romoff, Betina Ocampo, and Rosanna Ocampo. If you aren’t familiar with these names, check out what they have to offer. You’re sure to find something that fits your style and wardrobe.
