Korina Sanchez and Mar Roxas waited almost 10 years for their twins

Korina Sanchez and senatorial candidate Mar Roxas shared some exciting news last night. They’re officially parents of twins!

In a statement to ABS-CBN, Korina and Mar confirmed that the babies were “born by surrogacy from our embryos.” The boy and girl are perfectly healthy and they still don’t have names yet. “Any suggestions? Jack and Jill? Sonny and Cher? MariKor and KoriMar? Daniel and Kathryn?” Korina wrote on Instagram last night.

The couple recently hinted that they were going to have a baby when Korina posted a photo while seemingly shopping at an infancy store. But according to their statement, this plan was almost a decade in the making. “Sa wakas, nandito na ang matagal na naming pinagdasal. Akala namin hindi na mangyayari. After years of working on our baby project, ito na ang himala galing Langit,” (Finally, the children we’ve been praying for are finally here. We thought this would never happen. After years of working on our baby project, God gave us our miracle) they stated.

The new family is currently in Pennsylvania and Korina is already a doting mom, feeding the babies every two hours. Meanwhile, Mar “remains speechless,” probably couldn’t believe that they have two additions to their family.

Congratulations to the Sanchez-Roxas clan!
