Sure, attending workshops may not be as exciting as skydiving or cliff jumping, but we still think you should include it on your bucket list. In fact, here’s one we highly recommend you add to that list: Write Away, an all-women writing and life coaching retreat helmed by three lady bosses, life coach Aurora M. Suarez, and authors Samantha Sotto and Mina V. Esguerra. If you aren’t familiar with the annual retreat yet, here’s the lowdown. It basically provides goers the time and space they need to work on their writing and creative projects. If you’re 25 years old and older, you are more than welcome to join, regardless if you’re still searching for inspiration, already have an idea, have written a few pages, or just need the final push for the last chapters.
For this year, Write Away will be conducted at The Country Place in Baguio. It’s a lovely home filled with character, and offers wide-open spaces that will definitely get your creative juices flowing. It’s a conducive place for meditating, reading, and writing, so every workshop and life coaching session is maximized. Oh, and because it is a retreat, the goal is to energize you, not drain or stress you with the workshop. Throughout your stay, you can expect delicious food, wine nights, and even a massage. I don’t know about you, but writing, reading, wine nights, plus massage–that sounds like heaven to me.
Also, in contrast to the previous years, the program now consists of post-retreat coaching or mentoring sessions so even after the four-day retreat, you’ll still feel secure about having these mentors’ guidance on your writing and creative projects.
Write Away 2019 will be held from Oct. 17 to 20, 2019. If you’re itching to join, check out all the details and registration process here. Early Writer rate ends on April 30, so don’t put it off!
