Egg hunts and endless food: This is how you really spend Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday is one of those non-negotiable occasions where you spend the whole day with family. You can be eating for hours at a relative’s home. Or, even better, planning an elaborate egg hunt for the kids.

But if you want to change up family plans or want to treat them to special Easter-themed treats this year, you can refer to this list. You might even find something you can enjoy with your friends.

Easter Pastry Shop at Okada Manila

Where: Lobby Lounge, UG/F, Pearl Wing, Okada Manila, New Seaside Drive, Entertainment City, Parañaque City

Time: 10 a.m. to 12 m.n.

 

Add these adorable treats to your table setup. Lobby Lounge’s Easter chocolate selection (available until April 22) includes multicolored eggs, bunnies, and even quirky egg yolk-shaped candies. We’re sure all the little ones at home will love munching on these.

Easter in Aura Wonderland

Where: SM Aura Premier, 26th Street cor. McKinley Parkway, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City

Time: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

If you’re going to the mall with your family this Sunday, check out SM Aura’s Egg Labyrinth for a fun egg hunt. Kids can also play games, do arts and crafts, and even win prizes while they’re there.

Game of Easter

Where: Buddha-Bar Manila, PICAR Place, Kalayaan Avenue, Makati City

Time: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Continue the Game of Thrones S8 hype with this Easter lunch party with a dragon egg hunt for the kids. Adults (P950+ per head) and kids (P550+ per head) can indulge in a buffet of Buddha-Bar Manila’s dishes, a live BBQ grilling station, carvery, and desserts.

Easter Brunch Buffet

Where: Alfred, G/F Makati Diamond Residences, 118 Legazpi Street, Legazpi Village, Makati City

Time: 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

 

Alfred prepared a special Easter menu this Sunday consisting of salmon & spinach vol-au-vent and spiced crab tartlets for appetizers; a carving station of Angus ribeye with roasted brussel sprouts & baby carrots; and a dessert table with egg-shaped cookies and popcorn croquettes. It’s P2,000 net for adults and P1,000 for kids six to 12 years old—not bad considering you’ll eat all the brunch dishes you want.

Makati Street Meet: Easter Egg Hunt

Where: Paseo De Roxas Street, Makati City

Time: 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

For this edition of Makati Street Meet, kids and adults are welcome to join the egg hunt and various workshops, as well as a food bazaar. This is a great way to get your family out of the house for some quality time.

Crafty Easter #AtTheMet

Where: Blue Bay Walk, EDSA Extension cor. Macapagal Boulevard, Pasay City

Time: 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

 

Kids can spend their Easter Sunday productively at this arts and crafts event. Here, they can paint bunny ornaments and Easter eggs, make friendship bracelets, and also sing along to live music. Adults are free to join in and help the little ones if they want.

Easter Omakase

Where: Nobu Manila, City of Dreams Manila, Aseana Boulevard cor. Macapagal Avenue, Parañaque City

Time: 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Nobu is offering an eight-course omakase dinner for the whole month of April. The menu will include dishes like seared scallop with vegetable salsa, an assortment of nigiri sushi, seared beltfish, and marinated lamb chops. All this for P5,600+ per head.
