Can’t sleep? These 10 yoga stretches are your new lullaby

Bad back? Hip pains? Is your head swimming with so many things? Or are you just tossing and turning in bed, mentally anxious and can’t sleep?

Well, you know what they say: Sometimes, falling asleep is just as hard as waking up in the morning. Especially if your body and mind are tight and restless from hours of classes, countless meetings, or going to the gym.

My suggestion? Yoga.

According to The Yoga Journal, the relaxation techniques incorporated in yoga can lessen chronic pain, such as lower back pain, arthritis, headaches, and carpal tunnel syndrome. It can also lower blood pressure and reduce insomnia. So it’s not just about the body. It’s about your mind, spirit, and wellness overall.And by lowering stress levels, calming the mind and relieving tension in the body, the soothing practice can be an effective natural sleep remedy.

I know what you’re thinking: An expensive class with 20 other people? A hot room? Going out of the house? Again, an expensive class?
