Hot on the heels of their Hana Tajima collection, Uniqlo reminds us of its next hot project. The Japanese brand has revealed the campaign photos for its collaboration with Lemaire, the French label of design duo Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran.
The campaign plays with the concept of indoor clothing and outerwear. Photographed by Alasdair McLellan, the images play with both scenarios seamlessly woven together by a chic yet comfortable look. It’s all about challenging the word “basic” and the tainted meaning it has acquired as of late.
The project is just one of the many high-end collaborations Uniqlo has ventured into recently. The Japanese fast-fashion brand has drawn attention from high-end designers because of their attention to detail and how they place a premium on the designer’s creative process.
The collab will officially drop in stores worldwide and online this coming October.
