Valentine’s Day was extra special for supermodel and former America’s Next Top Model host Tyra Banks because not only is she in the company of her boyfriend, photographer Erik Asla (who calls her his muse), she also can’t help but show all her love for their son, York Banks Asla, on Instagram. This is also everyone’s first glimpse of the baby boy.
Baby York, who was born last Jan. 28 via a surrogate mother, is Tyra’s first child at 42 years old and calls him their “miracle baby boy.” The model previously shared on her show FABLife, co-hosted with Chrissy Teigen, that she’s been undergoing IVF Treatment because of fertility struggles, so the arrival of York was definitely a dream come true for the Banks-Asla household.
“The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here. He’s got my fingers and big eyes and daddy Erik’s mouth and chin. As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone,” Tyra posted on her Instagram last month.
Motherhood does look good on you, Ty, and baby York is precious. With creative parents like the two of you, we won’t be surprised if York might grow up to be a fine model in the future.
