When you hear the words “super blue blood moon,” it sounds both ominous and fascinating. I mean we’ve heard of and seen a “super moon,” so what the heck is this?
To put it simply, it’s a combination of various occurrences: it’s the second full moon of the month, the moon is closer to Earth, and it has a reddish hue thanks to the lunar eclipse. This is very rare and there’s no saying when it’ll happen again, so you better look out your window tomorrow night.
Just like any natural phenomenon, the super blue blood moon may also affect various aspects of our lives. This covers our moods, relationships, and even our environment. If you’re already gearing up for your viewing party at home, maybe you should also take these effects into account.
Lack of sleep
A study found that a lunar cycle can greatly affect one’s sleeping pattern, especially when there’s a full moon. So if you find yourself tossing and turning in bed tomorrow night, you can blame it on that. Perhaps you should put your sleeping lotion to good use to help you out.
More tired than usual
Of course, not everyone is going to have difficulty sleeping during a full moon. However, you might still feel fatigued and even experience headaches because of the lunar eclipse. This will also cause you to be more cranky than usual.
Relationship problems
Astrologer Lisa Stardust told Bustle that the super blue blood moon will cause a “super punch of drama and emotion.” This means that many projects and relationships might fail due to the lunar occurrence. Elite Daily also adds, “[The moon is] tied to the underworld, the place in our subconscious where our demons lie. If you haven’t made piece with your inner demons yet, then the super blue blood moon will be peeling back the layers of your outer image so the truth can come out. The two of you can choose to confront your demons together, facing them one by one. But if your relationship simply isn’t up to the task, the pressure will push the two of you apart.”
So if you have any problems that may arise today or tomorrow, you better resolve them ASAP.
Improve sexual drive
We already know that the super blue blood moon can affect you emotionally and physically. Elite Daily also elaborates that you can “experience an extreme increase in your feelings of lust.” It’s so intense that having sex during this time can allegedly patch up your problematic partnerships. “If your relationship is beyond repair, then sex during this time will thrust you into the next phase of your life. The karmic loop that you have been seeking your way out of will be finally broken, and your own personal light will be revealed.”
Volcanic eruptions and earthquakes
The eruption of the Mayon volcano, as well as other natural disasters, might just be connected to the super blue blood moon. This is apparently caused by the gravitational pull of both the sun and moon, causing it to wreak havoc on Earth. Express noted that the occurrence might also trigger multiple volcanic eruptions. Let’s pray that doesn’t happen any time soon.
