It’s been almost a week since the Ariana-Pete split, and it seems that both of them are continuing with their lives. Ariana Grande performed for a taping of A Very Wicked Halloween and met her idol Idina Menzel. Meanwhile, Pete Davidson is back on the comedy stage and of course, making jokes about his recent breakup—mostly about the Ariana-inspired tattoos he got after the engagement.
Pete co-hosted Judd & Pete for America with Judd Apatow, where he candidly talked (joked?) about not wanting to be there. “There’s a lot going on. Does anybody have any open rooms? Looking for a roommate?”
When it came to the tattoos, he recounted the times magazines would ask if it was a stupid decision to get a Dangerous Woman bunny and the letter A inked on him. “So my boy, he was like, ‘Don’t listen to that sh*t man. They’re literally f*cking haters.’ And I’m like, yeah, f*ck that. I’m not stupid. And the other day we were in my kitchen and he was like, ‘Yo bro. Turns out you were stupid.'”
Just like I said before in a previous article, getting a couple tattoo or something inspired by your significant other is a bold move. And as we’ve seen with many celebrities, they covered up these tattoos or got them removed. True enough, Pete was spotted with a freshly-inked heart behind his ear, where the Ariana-inspired tattoos used to be.
Laughs aside, Pete reportedly didn’t mean to sound like he’s ridiculing his breakup. According to Page Six, he’s still hoping for a reconciliation with Ariana. He probably misses Piggy Smallz too.
