Aries season 2020: Right the mistakes of Mercury retrograde

After a somewhat messy Pisces season (thanks, Mercury retrograde), we’re officially entering Aries season (Mar. 21 to April 19).

Aries is the first astrological sign in the zodiac, meaning Aries season is a time of new beginnings. This is especially important if you experienced troubles with work and relationships while Mercury was in retrograde. You have to clean up the mess sooner or later, right?

People born under this zodiac sign are said to be bold and ambitious. As a fire sign represented by the ram, Aries people tend to dive headfirst into challenging situations without any fear. These are traits that we can live by even beyond Aries season.

Here’s some advice to guide you through Aries season:

Don’t let your motivation die

This season is the perfect time to be ambitious. If you’re feeling highly motivated the last few days or weeks, use that fiery energy to finish tasks and take on new projects that may be out of your comfort zone. If you had trouble with work during Mercury retrograde, this is your opportunity to make things right.

Process your anger and frustration

Aries people are known to be hotheaded, so Astro Style‘s advice is to process that anger and meditate on what’s getting you riled up at that moment. “Stuffing down anger is often the very thing that causes it to flare up and combust—or leave you feeling listless and depressed,” noted the astrology site.

Processing your anger will also prevent you from lashing out at someone, especially a friend or colleague. Mercury retrograde already gave us the trouble of miscommunication, so don’t make things worse by unintentionally burning bridges.

Don’t cross the line

With Venus entering Aries, astrologer Lisa Stardust told Refinery29 that people might feel torn and emotionally ignored, causing them to demand attention. While it’s okay to meet these needs with respect, it’s still important not to cross the line with someone. You might think you’re doing something with good intentions, but you might sever ties when you don’t respect their boundaries.

Let go of troubles

This is easier said than done, but Allure advised that leaving behind retrograde-related troubles and anxieties may help you get through Aries season. “Your goal is to fully step into that Aries’s confidence and leave anxiety at the door. It will only get in the way of your dreams,” said the outlet. It’s also important to prioritize your mental health, so don’t be afraid to seek help if you’re feeling anxious lately.
