Set to be aired on Apr. 18 (Apr. 19 internationally), “One World: Together at Home” is a televised benefit show for coronavirus relief which was announced yesterday by Lady Gaga in collaboration with Global Citizen and the World Health Organization. Prior to this, Gaga and Global Citizen have already raised $35 million for the cause.
The show aims to raise funds through the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, which supports WHO’s efforts to understand and fight the spread of the virus as well as support local and regional charities that cater to those in need amid the crisis.
The benefit show is set to feature seasoned artists like Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, Billie Eilish and FINNEAS, Lizzo, Paul McCartney, Elton John, John Legend and more. Aside from these stars, frontliners and families around the world will also share the spotlight.
For international viewers, the show will be streamed on Apr. 19 on Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Tidal by BBC One.
