Meanwhile, Blk Cosmetics has given us another way to beat the summer heat: a new line of sheet masks.
In an Instagram post, Blk owner Anne Curtis-Heussaff said she, with the help of Dream Machine, will be sending “a special product we’ve been working on for almost a year” to frontliners. She revealed that Blk is coming out with Fresh Face Masks, which is the brand’s first skincare product.
“The past couple of months, while uncertain and scary, have showed our front liners strength and heroism. We can’t thank them enough for helping us stay safe and healthy. We strongly admire their courage in stepping up in these challenging times. We see you and we’re here for you,” wrote Curtis-Heussaff. She added that they came up with this product “with the goal of promoting self-care.”
Blk has been teasing their new products on Instagram since yesterday, May 11, with clips of summer fruits like watermelons and coconuts. In their latest post, they revealed that they’ll launch four variants: Wondermelon, Feeling Peachy, Coco Crush and Very Berry.
In the past, Blk has released collections inspired by Curtis-Heussaff’s love for K-beauty. So it was only a matter of time before the local brand would come out with a skincare line.
The Fresh Face Masks will be available on Lazada on May 13. Blk is also part of the Lazada For Good campaign. “For every P1,299 worth of Blk items purchased through the Lazada website from May 13 to 15, 2020, shoppers get a P50 Lazada For Good voucher to fund anti-COVID-19 efforts.”
