Charlotte Tilbury Launches New Lipstick Shades Named After Kim Kardashian and Salma Hayek

By Jacqueline Ariason March 17, 2016

Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury has found a way to celebrate her friendship with celebrities like Kim Kardashian-West, Salma Hayek, Helena Bonham-Carter, and more by launching 12 new lipstick shades named after each of them.

When you’re @ctilburymakeup, make-up artist to just about every star imaginable, you don’t launch a collaboration with just one celebrity – you launch a collaboration with all of them. @emrata, @misslivalittle, @kimkardashian and nine other stars have lent their names (and signature lip colours) to Tilbury’s upcoming #HotLips collection, where she “steals the beauty DNA” of each women to create a shade that perfectly pays tribute to them as well as teaming up with charity @womenforwomenuk. Her new line called “Hot Lips,” which will debut at Charlotte’s flagship store and online starting June 27 this year, features 12 signature lip colors wherein, she tells Vogue, she’s “stolen the beauty DNA” of all 12 women.

That sounds kinda weird, but who cares? We definitely want Kim’s nude pink shade, or maybe Miranda Kerr’s bright red one.

Each lippie will be sold at £23 (around P1,500).  Charlotte also plans to donate £1 to the Women for Women International, a charitable organization that assists women afflicted by war, during the first two months of the launch.

There’s no news yet on whether the lipsticks will be available for international shipping, but better keep your eyes peeled for it in case it sells as fast as the Kylie Lip Kit did.
