While we celebrated International Women’s Day and watched the “Day Without a Woman” protests, some people had a few questions. “When is International Men’s Day?” “Why is there no International Men’s Day?”
This is a common question among the inspirational quotes for women. This also, unsurprisingly, came from men who may or may not wanted to steal the spotlight. Why? We don’t know either, but netizens have a few ideas.
Why are you asking when International Men's Day is?

"when is international men's day?" do you not see that we live in a society where EVERYDAY is international men's day???

Some think that no such day exists since men practically celebrate this every day. (Yay patriarchy…not) Netizens say that having an International Men’s Day is “sexist” and it’s similar to asking for a White History Month celebration.

In case you’re wondering, there is such a thing as International Men’s Day—it’s Nov. 19. J.K. Rowling and comedian Richard Herring informed everyone of that. The latter has even devoted more than 300 tweets to remind people of it.
Happy #InternationalWomensDay
or, as it's often called on here, #WhyIsn'tThereAnInternationalMensDay
(There is: November 19th)

May be work on the attitude. November 19th RT @Tkelber: When's international men's days cause I could use some mothafuckin appreciation
— Richard K Herring (@Herring1967) March 8, 2017
Luckily one really exists RT @mattnicholas7: I can't imagine there being an international men's day. No, be cause that would be sexist…

Likewise, it’s still amusing how both men and women are responding to these queries. It’s full of sarcasm but also informative of the constant misogyny that women go through daily.
Di na kailangan. Everyday is International Man’s Day, and I say that with shame :-/

There is also a International men's day. In Swedish mens means period so in swenglish (a mix of Swe and Eng) it's kind of also our day 🙈#win

Love the whole "where's International Men's day?". Everyday dipshit. Every job interview, pay check & every time we aren't told how to be.

OK, there is an International Men's Day but is there an International Borderline-Misogynists With Nothing Better To Do Day?

It’s still March—Women’s Month, in fact. We still have months to go before International Men’s Day. Whether you decide to celebrate it or not is up to you. Just remember that we shouldn’t ignore women and their capabilities, not just today, but every day of our lives.
