KC Del Rosario is one millennial to not miss. An Instagram personality, no doubt, she’s shifting to more projects. First up is being the face of J. Cat Beauty along with Arci Muñoz, Jessica Yang, and Jach Manere.
After completing her fashion degree in London, she says she’s not in a hurry and is more about enjoying life. In a good way, she’s not buying into the pressure that is often imposed on her peers. “I’ll get there, no rush,” she told me in the middle of a frenzied crowd. That kind of calm is something very covetable in this time.
Despite being a constant presence on your social media feed, KC is still uncomfortable with the word “influencer.” “I also can’t describe what I do but I just have fun, and maybe it’s because I’m part of something new that can’t be defined yet,” she shares.
What’s your everyday makeup routine?
I always do contour. I feel like I have a baby face so I like to sharpen it up. I then have matte lipstick and then I do my brows. I can leave my eyes bare.
Who is your dream celebrity best friend?
Rihanna.
What’s a typical day for you like?
I’m usually at the gym, sketching, or editing random videos on my laptop to kill time before I see my friends.
Aside from wallet, keys, phone, what should always be in your bag?
I don’t carry a wallet or keys [but] definitely my phone, definitely lipstick, powder, and a brow pencil.
What’s one fashion item that you can’t get enough of?
Chic but weird-looking shoes.

I don’t really drink cocktails but maybe a gin and tonic.

My mother. (Fun fact: Her mom married a Bruneian prince)

Beauty ritual or hack you always do?
I always spray my hair with sugar spray after every shower (with or without blow drying it after). It makes my hair look fuller and healthier.
If you could be anywhere in the world, where will you go?
Either Monaco or a winter chalet in France.
