Nothing beats watching Regine Velasquez live. For her 30th anniversary in the industry, she held the first of two concerts last night at the Mall of Asia Arena. Regine also had a handful of outfit changes for her performances—just like a true song diva would.
For her opening number, Regine wore a black gown with feathers on the skirt.
After that, Regine slipped in a red and black beaded dress paired with thigh-high boots.
She then changed into a beige embellished gown for her performance of “I Can” featuring Donna Cruz, Mikke Cojuangco, and son Nate Alcasid. A touching moment that even Dra. Vicki Belo couldn’t help but gush.
Regine proved her love for her fans and impersonators as she pulled them up on stage for “Urong Sulong.” Here, she wore a short magenta dress with a cape.
Another iconic moment was when Regine sang with the “new queens” Julie Ann San Jose, Jona Viray, Morisette Amon, Aicelle Santos, and Angeline Quinto. All of them wore glittering gowns of varying colors.
Regine switched to a dark purple ball gown for her tribute performance to her late father.
What’s a Regine concert without a duet with husband Ogie Alcasid? She wore a red long-sleeved gown while performing their famous songs like “Hanggang Ngayon.”
To close the show, Regine went for a white pantsuit with a ruffled train.
Whew! How did Regine manage to change into so many outfits in one night? What’s amazing is that she’ll do this again tonight.
So what’s your favorite outfit from Regine’s concert? We’d love to know!
