Just a week after winning the Miss Universe title, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters she’s already feeling at home in New York but she’s also jetting off to other countries. Her first stop? The Philippines.
Demi-Leigh arrived last night and showed off the colorful flower lei she was given. She even bumped into Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere at the airport.
According to Inquirer.net, Demi-Leigh will tour the Philippines for four days. She’ll also be joined by 14 other beauty queens, including Rachel Peters. Meanwhile, Pia Wurtzbach won’t be with them.
Department of Tourism Secretary Wanda Teo said the beauty queens will first go to Luneta Park and Intramuros today. Then they’ll be divided into three groups and will travel to the scenic spots of Batanes, Camiguin, and Bohol.
Demi-Leigh will be leading the Batanes group, Iris will be in Bohol, and Rachel will be in Camiguin.
So if you happen to be in these places in the next few days, you might just catch a glimpse of Miss Universe 2017 and the other beauty queens that you’ve come to love.
