After two years of preparation and production, we finally see Anne Curtis in the new trailers for her upcoming film Buy Bust. A few weeks ago, she released the shorts they created prior to working on the full production of the film and in those few minutes we already saw how hardworking and committed Anne was to her role.
This time around, we have a better understanding on the story plot which revolves around a PDEA mission gone wrong. The squads assigned to do the buy bust (aka the team where Anne is a part of) was set up, leaving them to fend for themselves in the most dangerous corners of Manila. The hunters who wanted to eradicate drugs became the hunted.
More than the Pekiti-Tirsia Kali skills, we see Anne get in the nitty gritty of drug trade through combat and handling of weapons—all with a sassy haircut to boot!
The film’s screening will start on Feb. 28 and I think you know who’ll be first in line—the Preen team and other badass women inspired by Anne and her dedication.
