Anna Wintour Sat Next to This Iconic Woman at London Fashion Week

When it comes to the front-row seating of fashion week, you’re sure to find Anna Wintour from time to time. She is the Vogue EIC after all, and sitting next to her is like a lifetime achievement for many. (Okay, maybe that’s just us.) But during London Fashion Week, the tables may have been turned since Anna sat next to The Queen herself.

The two women were spotted at front row of Richard Quinn’s fall 2018 presentation at London Fashion Week. According to the Royal Family’s Twitter account, the designer is the first recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design. So that must be the reason for the Queen’s attendance.

Fashionista reports that Richard also won the H&M Design Award in 2016 and “remains heavily committed to sustainability in his own line.”

Queen Elizabeth was later spotted smiling ear-to-ear after the show. It’s clear that she had a great time and maybe struck up a conversation with Anna too!

Here’s hoping we see more surprise appearances from Queen Elizabeth II during the next London Fashion Week!
