It seems that there are more influential men in fashion that are being accused of sexual misconduct. It’s all thanks to this “blacklist” created to protect models.
Sh*t Model Management, an anonymously handled Instagram account dedicated to model memes, started compiling the names that they “suggest models to avoid.” According to the account’s handler, she created the list after followers started sending her names of “any photographers that acted sexually inappropriate towards them.”
There were names in the list that weren’t reported before like designers Tom Ford and Jeremy Scott (who was named thrice), and photographers Thom Perry and Yu Tsai. However, what they did wasn’t specified.
It also contained previously accused men like Mario Testino, Paul Marciano, Bruce Weber, and Patrick Demarchelier.
“To the models that trusted me with your stories—I am so grateful that you came to me and spoke up. There were some stories about how the photographer (or stylist, agent, etc) tried to coerce them into taking off their clothes when they already said no, pushing unwanted sexual advances on them, inappropriate touching, crude sexual comments, and even rape,” Sh*t Model Management wrote.
As of writing, many of the men named in the blacklist haven’t spoken up about the accusations against them.
