The vagina is one of the most misunderstood parts of the body. While phallic symbols are abound and the male organ worshipped in some cultures, the vagina was seen as shameful. No one talks about it and, and through the male gaze is often misrepresented.
Fortunately, the rise of movements such as #PowerToThePussy opened up the importance of talking about it and being aware of its significance along with other women’s issues.
