Celebs are just like us—they do groceries, they go out, they hang out, and they also process their government papers. Yesterday, actress Lauren Young took to Twitter her most recent experience at the Department of Foreign Affairs.
“Processing for documents in the Philippines makes me wanna pull my hair out, scream, and have my eyes roll back,” she said. “Basically an exorcism.” And quite frankly, she’s not the first to experience this—not only have we had a hard time booking slots for DFA the past few months, but the processing itself can get just as horrifying.
She shared about lining up for three hours only to be told the exact same thing prior to lining up. And even said that there were only two windows accommodating 100 people in line.
Guy in window 1 told me I have to get a document but should verify with window 2 if it’s necessary or if theres something they can do for me. Waited in line for 3 hours to get to window 2 only to be told the exact same thing. Salamat! #DFAHorrorStories

2 windows accommodating 100 people in cue. I felt so bad for the people waiting and for the people working there. Right now the question isn’t “what can WE do?” But more of “what should THEY do?” ??♀️ Or.. “Can I have my taxes back? Lololol jk” ??♀️ #DFAHorrorStories

In the end, Lauren just said, “Can I have my taxes back? Lololol jk.”
