When life’s so good, you can’t help but appreciate—and it looks like Beyoncé is truly appreciating life as she celebrates one more trip around the sun.
Queen B posted a series of photos on her Instagram showing their mini vacation, obviously to celebrate her recent birthday. She captioned her photo with Jay-Z with empowering words, “At 36, I became a mother of three. I breastfed twins. I renewed my vows with my husband of 10 years. I came back home to the stage to do Coachella, after pregnancy. Then my husband and I released an album together. Everything is love. And we’ve been touring with our family around the world, and loving it.”

“This year has been monumental for me. I thank God for everyone in my life. Thank you for all the positivity and for the beautiful birthday wishes. I’m looking forward to continuing to learn from my past, living in the present, and surrendering to the future.”
Amidst all of the accomplishments, there’s at least one thing we can all relate to—the challenges of being a woman and a mother, and of course, how they celebrate life’s great moments with cake and a battery pack (because Jay-Z knows your phone needs to be juiced up all the time.)
Belated happy 37th birthday, Beyoncé and may you continue to inspire.
