The MTV European Music Awards has just concluded. Sure, we’re excited about the winners. Plus, the enthralling performances, like host Hailee Steinfeld being spray painted by robots, the duo Jack & Jack literally floating while performing, and Halsey getting wet by a simulated downpour inside a glass cage. But we’re also here for the outlandish red carpet outfits expected from the popular awards show. Fortunately, this year’s EMAs didn’t disappoint. Some of the biggest characters in music attended the show, and they brought with them their fun and quirky fashion sensibilities. Here, we’ve listed some of the hippest performers who gathered at Bilbao, Spain for the awards, and turned the red carpet into a fashion circus—in a good way.
Halsey
Our girl Halsey delivers with her concert outfits, so it’s no surprise she brought it on the red carpet. Her winning look is a pink, floor-length, sheer gown with flared sleeves and cut-out details.

Hailee Steinfeld
This year’s host sparkled in a short, sequined gown from Giorgio Armani with a giant bow detail on the front. Her sleek hair and makeup was to-die-for.
Dua Lipa
Dua kept it fun in a short, Saint Laurent floral playsuit with ’80s-inspired shoulder pads and a plunging neckline. She’s Dua Lipa, so yeah, you can bet she rocked that look.
Bebe Rexha
Not one to be outshined, Bebe wore a sparkly hooded dress with thigh-high boots, black leather gloves and giant gold chain necklaces.
Little Mix
The mix of bold outfits is giving us some serious Spice Girls vibes. Leigh-Anne Pinnock channeled a glamazon with her black dress, Jesy Nelson wore a bright pink trouser suit, Perrie Edwards wore trousers with a pinstripe top, and Jade Thirlwall went with a black textured top with a graphic skirt.
Nicki Minaj
Nicki shone in a silver Versace gown. The matching mask was the kind of extra we expected from the bombshell who killed her much-talked about performance with Little Mix.

Rosalia
The Spanish singer wore a baby pink crop top and trousers with heavy ruffle details. That with the chunk white trainers is definitely a look.
