This is how much women spend on beauty services

Beauty Expense services

Have you ever wondered how much you actually spend on beauty services? Aside from products, many women also avail of other things to take care of or even treat themselves . These range from hair, nails, and body. Depending on where they go and what they have done, the prices can vary but they eventually add up to an amount that’s a bit ridiculous. Now, I am guilty of splurging on these but I don’t really feel about it because it makes me feel and look good. To get a better perspective on how much women spend, I interviewed some people, and also compared my own, to get a rough range. Keep reading to find out.

Hair

hair

Price: P500 – P7,000

Admittedly, women don’t have their hair cut as often as men but, from what I’ve seen, cuts for women are more expensive. Of course, there are more affordable options but it’s still a bit pricey. On top of that, I notice more and more women start to experiment with their locks, making it a high maintenance task. A haircut from a junior hairstylist at a salon can cost P500, while a root touch-up with a blow out can reach up to P4,000 depending on where you go. On the pricier side, a haircut can cost as much as P7,000.

Brows

Price: P180 – P500

When it comes to brows, we can do more than just have them threaded or waxed. Aside from having the shape in tip-top shape, there is also tinting. This is great for women who want to save on time when getting ready. A simple brow tidy wherein they get rid of stray hairs can cost as low as P180. The tinting on the other hand can cost up to P500 but it is definitely worth it. You won’t have to worry about your brows being perfect when you wake up in the morning.

Nails

nails

Price: P250 – P1,350

Sure, we can do our own nails at home, but there’s something about getting a manicure that’s very relaxing. This is a small way that women like to spoil themselves. It can be something basic like regular cleaning for P250.  You can also go in for some nail art or gel nail polish that will last longer and will cost P1,350. Personally I used to get a manicure every two weeks to maintain the shape and get a fresh color. Now, this isn’t that expensive but it adds up so you can just imagine how much some women spend on their nails in a year.

Lashes

Price: P400 – P2,500

If you’re a lashes kind of girl, there are different services you can avail off. First is extensions wherein they add individual hairs to your lashline to make them look fuller. These will fall off eventually and you can go in for touch-ups in between. For something more natural and long-lasting, try a lifting treatment. This costs a lot more but can last for up to six weeks. Whichever you’re into, you’re sure to look more put together with these.

Body

wax

Price: P150 – P1,500

For body services, let’s focus on hair removal. The most common ones would be threading and waxing. Although, more people are getting into laser hair removal as well. Having your underarms waxed would probably be the cheapest on the list with more expensive services being a Brazilian or even a full body wax. Of course, these aren’t essential but some women are more comfortable when they’re hairless.
