Last year, BB Gandanghari opened up about the struggles she faced in 2017 to survive as an actor in LA and achieve her dream of working in Hollywood. “Tough times is an understatement as I find ways and means to be productive so as to not only support a mere existence in a foreign land but to support a dream, the so-called Hollywood dream. And boy, it’s no joke,” she wrote. In her Instagram posts, she recounted the many sacrifices she had to do, as well as the hurdles she had to overcome—including “discrimination as a transgender on job opportunities” which she said is “not just a hearsay, but a sad and unfortunate reality.”

Fortunately, it seems as though all her hard work is already paying off. Through IG Stories and Twitter, Ramon De Veyra revealed that BB is set to appear on the Amazon Prime show Too Old To Die Young, with no less than Hollywood actress Jena Malone, whom you might recognize as Johanna Mason from Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
