The Golden Gays need our help amid the COVID-19 outbreak
Established in the mid-1970s by LGBT rights activist and columnist Justo Justo, the Home for the Golden Gays in Pasay served as a care facility for homeless elderly gays. When Justo died in 2012, the Golden Gays were forced to live in the streets. They get by through performing in drag and working other jobs like being a beautician, vendor and street sweeper.
Because of the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine, the Golden Gays started a donation drive so they can have basic supplies like groceries and face masks. If you’re willing to help them out, here’s how you can donate:

The Golden Gays are going to need a lot of help. They're all elderly, and lack any other social support system outside of the group. Especially vulnerable during the pandemic, and could use some supplies.
