It’s almost a year since Solenn Heussaff got married to Nico Bolzico. People are also wondering when they plan on having a baby, especially with celebs like Georgina Wilson-Burnand, Iya Villania-Arellano, and Sam Godinez-Valenciano who gave birth last year.
This was asked during a recent press conference as Solenn is working on two TV shows now—Full House Tonight and Encantadia. She simply answered that getting pregnant would wait for a while. “Not this year. Maybe sa 2018.”
She adds that she hasn’t had a doctor’s check-up yet, saying, “Ayoko kasing ma-stress kung hindi ako puwedeng mabuntis. Stress na ang katawan ko!” (I don’ want to stress over the idea of not getting pregnant. My whole body’s already stressed!)
Although it’s exciting to read about pregnancy news—like Beyoncé announcing she’s having twins—we shouldn’t place pressure on Solenn about this. If she chooses to work first before having a baby, then she can. If she decides to get pregnant at a certain age just like Ellen Adarna, she’s free to do so as well.
