How to get a fresh hair ‘do without a cut or color

I really hope I’m not alone when I say that I easily get bored with my hair. If I’m not cutting it short or growing it out, I’m always looking for new way to style it. This also goes for the accessories that I use. From new style of headbands to the comeback of ’90s clips, I’m willing to try almost anything. Recently, I’ve seen celebrities experimenting with hair accessories as well. If you want to keep your hair out of your face, see what Maris Racal has been using. Looking for an edgy option? Kiana Valenciano has an unconventional choice. Switch it up and try something new this summer with these celebrity inspirations.

Andrea Brillantes is no stranger to cute hair accessories. While visiting The Dessert Museum, she wore a pink twist headband to match her pastel outfit. If you check your favorite fast fashion brand, they have many different color and prints for this type of headband. Wear it to the beach or on days when you don’t feel like fixing your hair.

Shop: Zara Striped Headband, Available at Glorietta 4.

Another hair accessory for summer is a hair tie with a bow. Anne Curtis wore a bright orange one recently. Evita Peroni’s Paige Pony Elastic comes in different colors like red and blue. This is an easy way to upgrade your regular ponytail.

Camille Co

Stay on trend this summer with embroidered dad caps. Just like Camille Co, pick one in your favorite color and a design that matches your personality. It can have your favorite cartoon character or maybe your favorite food.

Shop: Forever 21 Cactus Embroidered Dad Cap, Available at SM Megamall.

Maris Racal

We witnessed the return of the scrunchie late last year and actress Maris Racal is fan of the trend. Channeling her inner Sporty Spice, she tied her hair up in a high ponytail secured with a yellow scrunchie. This pack from Bershka has a floral print and comes in three different colors.

Shop: Bershka Floral Scrunchies, Available at SM Aura Premier.

Kiana Valenciano

If you’re looking for an edgy way to tie your braids, take some inspiration from Kiana Valenciano. Instead of adding a ribbon, try using a ball chain instead. Choose your favorite metal like silver or rose gold. You can also match this with your other accessories like rings and necklaces.

Shop: Cody Sanderson Ball Chain Necklace, Available on Farfetch.
