We’re all about celebrity couples, from engagements to matching Halloween costumes, our feeds are filled with them. But, lately, I’ve noticed that more and more celebrities are showing their cheesy side on social media. I’m not talking about just plain old couple photos. There are lengthy messages and choreographed pictures to go along with it. Cheesy relationships might not be your style but these couples aren’t afraid to show that side of them. Before you keep reading, let this be your warning for the cheesy overload ahead.
Nadine Lustre
It’s no secret that Nadine Lustre and James Reid are very much in love. She does have an IG highlight dedicated to photos and videos of him. Nadine also isn’t one to post a lot on social media but her latest Instagram post was of James. It was a picture of a polaroid where he is holding heart-shaped balloons. Her caption simply read, “Cutie.”
Liza Soberano
Amongst her sponsored posts, Liza Soberano also shares couple photos with Enrique Gil. Some of them are even accompanied by cheesy captions. A few days ago, she shared a picture from what looks to be a photoshoot. In the caption she wrote, “Never in my life have I been more sure.” Enrique also posted a photo of Liza with the caption, “You’re everything I wanted and more.” He has also called her his “forever” in the past.
Maxene Magalona
After getting married earlier this year, Maxene Magalona and Rob Mananquil seem to be enjoying their honeymoon stage. Maxene gushed about her hubby by posting a throwback photo with him. She also shared the caption, “When something or someone is good for you, you’ll be able to feel it in every part of your body. Energy doesn’t lie.”
Janella Salvador
We’ve compiled the cutest moments of #ElNella in the past but here’s a new addition to the list. On Elmo Magalona’s birthday, Janella Salvador had a sweet message for him. She said, “Cheesy as it might sound, it’s true… there’s nothing like finding someone who you can be your complete self with (… and have your own language with). This is us. This is you and I behind all the glamour and people who love to talk and talk ad talk and I wouldn’t want it to change a bit.” Thanks for the cheesy warning, Janella. She went on, “People can say what they want but I will always be thankful because God blesses not just me but the whole world with you and your funny, talented, and charming, self.”
Heart Evangelista
Heart Evangelista is back from her social media hiatus and we’re glad to see her on our feeds again. Among her OOTD photos, she also posted one with husband Sen. Chiz Escudero. It was a photo of them laying on the beach and looking at each other. Her caption read, “I am so blessed to have you in my life. A partner that not only inspires me but constantly gives me the strength to spread my wings. God sends is angels in many different forms.”
Solenn Heussaff
Watching Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico’s shenanigans on social media can be entertaining. But, when they’re not pranking each other, they can be sweet and cheesy too. While attending a wedding last month, Solenn posted this photo where they’re wearing matching pink outfits. She also said she “would marry you all over again.”
Jessy Mendiola
Last month, Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano celebrated their second anniversary. She greeted him by posting a photo of them at a beach against a sunset background. She also added quite a long message and said, “From the beginning you always treated me so special, you never fail to make me smile and laugh even on bad days. You’re my partner in everything, you even do things against your will (like walking so much and taking pictures) just to make me happy.”
