We’re obsessed with Ezra Miller’s gender-bending editorial shoot

We seriously need to talk about Ezra Miller on the latest cover of GQ Style. Shot by Yoshiyuki Matsumura and styled by Mobolaji Dawodu, we see Ezra in the fashion editorial wearing dark, vampy-red lipstick as well as womenswear like a green sweater dress. In another, he wears dark nail polish—and damn, he looked so good in all of them.

In the accompanying feature, he talks about identifying as gender fluid, saying, “I’m comfortable with all pronouns. I let he/his/him ride and that’s fine.” He also revealed that he was initially nervous about doing the shoot “because he wasn’t sure if he could fit the mold.” It turns out, he had nothing to be nervous about. “I was pleasantly surprised and overjoyed by how much room there was for my very strange and fluid expressions,” he shared.

This isn’t the first time the actor broke gender norms through fashion and beauty. In 2012, we also saw him wearing red lipstick for a Paper Magazine cover, and last year, he proudly wore Fenty Beauty lip gloss on the red carpet.

Oh, Ezra, we don’t deserve you.
